Volt is immediately hiring an Manufacturing Production Associate in Rainsville, Alabama 35986
As a Manufacturing Production Associate you will:
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Operate coil winding machines and manufacturing equipment.
  • Assemble, shape, bend, cut, sand, solder, and prepare transformer components.
  • Use pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools.
  • Operate robotic welding equipment.
  • Perform potting operations using epoxy and silica sand.
  • Safely move materials using lift-assist equipment.
  • Support inventory counts and production activities.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and efficiency goals.
  • Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
  • Perform additional manufacturing duties as needed.

This is a full-time opportunity
Schedule: Training on 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), then transition to 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read work instructions, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd Shift.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
