Job description

Experience and abilities you will need:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have Industrial Safety Experience, MSHA/OSHA.
  • Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to drive and operate various equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and bobcats.
  • Knowledge of all types of equipment used in the manufacturing of cement.

What you will do:
The Process Attendant will provide critical feedback from the field to the central control room and production supervisor on all aspects of production operations. Responsible for operating mobile equipment on a continuous basis to maintain raw material levels for consistent processing.
  • Ensure raw materials storage area has proper guarding, material flow and equipment soundness.
  • Walkthrough raw mill grinding circuit and check for equipment soundness, material leaks and air leaks.
  • Ensure the preheater tower is free from air and material leaks, measure temperatures; look for normal operating conditions.
  • Walkthrough finish mill circuit and inspect for equipment soundness, material leakage, and air leaks.
  • Use compressed air to promote material flow in chutes and remove blockages as necessary.
  • Work with high-pressure water spray to remove the material blockage from outside of high-temperature vessels.
  • Learn and understand process flow.
  • Maintain the company standards for workplace cleanliness/orderliness.
