Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Production Manufacturing Manager to lead our maritime manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing activities. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, optimize supply chain workflows, and foster a culture of innovation and safety. Duties

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of production management to meet daily, weekly, and long-term operational goals.
  • Develop and execute production plans utilizing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Monitor supply chain analytics and manage supply chain operations to ensure timely procurement of materials and optimal inventory levels using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
  • Oversee plant management activities including safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting to maintain smooth operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions for process enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality control, assembly, and logistics to streamline workflows and improve overall operations management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control measures, and regulatory requirements across all manufacturing processes.
  • Manage production planning activities to align capacity with demand forecasts while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Utilize supply chain management tools to optimize logistics, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines.

Experience

  • Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of ERP systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of MRP systems for effective production planning and inventory control.
