Job description

The ideal candidate will:

  • Manage the picking and assigning parts to open sales orders for shipment, in coordination with manufacturing & planning coordinator, and Sales team.
  • Verifies quantities to be part-marked, packaged, and shipped prior to picking to help streamline shipments.  
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the flow of materials, labor, and quality standards throughout the production cycle.
  • Material movement in production cycles to ensure seamless and continuous operations with all departments. Responsible for a smooth running and efficient facility, ensuring a safe environment and quality control.
  • Communication with all departments, such as engineering, quality, purchasing, sales, and logistics, to ensure that the production goals and customer delivery requirements are met, 360° collaboration.
  • Help identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement. 
  • Coordinate with shipping personnel on inventory and stock movements. 
  • Uses hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment to move shipments from shipping and receiving area to required departments or work areas.Â
