Packaging Operator

Location: Miramar, FL
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM


Job Description
Keystaff is seeking a Packaging Operator for a physically demanding position in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position requires standing for extended periods, repetitive movements, and frequent lifting and handling of materials throughout the shift.


Essential Duties

  • Perform production and packaging processes according to work orders and SOPs
  • Operate packaging and manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform machine changeovers, area setup, and deep cleaning
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues and make adjustments
  • Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, cGMPs, and quality standards
  • Complete production and packaging documentation accurately
  • Lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Stand and remain active for extended periods throughout the shift


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse environments
  • Experience performing physically demanding work
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Forklift certification or material handling experience preferred
  • GMP experience preferred
  • SAP experience is a plus


Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift. The position requires the ability to work in a physically demanding production environment.
