NOW HIRING: CNC MILL & CNC LATHE MACHINISTS – INTERVIEWS AVAILABLE!

Athena Manufacturing is growing, and we are ready to meet skilled machinists who want more than just another job. We are currently hiring for:

• CNC Mill Machinist - 2nd Shift
• CNC Lathe Machinist - 2nd Shift and Weekend Shift

If you take pride in making quality parts, enjoy solving problems, and want to grow with an established Austin manufacturer supporting commercial, aerospace, defense, and government customers, we want to hear from you!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Operate CNC mills or CNC lathes to produce precision components
• Read work orders, specifications, and manufacturing instructions
• Set machine controls, cutting tools, fixtures, and materials
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and bench operations
• Monitor machine feeds, speeds, performance, and part quality
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• For Lathe candidates: Live-tooling experience is especially valuable

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or GED
• Approximately two years of consistent work experience in Machining
• Basic computer and technology skills
• A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
• A dependable, coachable team member who is open to learning
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing position, with or without reasonable accommodation
