Job Schedule: Mon-Thurs; Fri and Sat as needed, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM

About the role of Line Bander Operator: The Line Bander Operator supports MNP's Steel and Wire division by banding and tagging steel wire/rod coils. This role has technical and clerical aspects. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities of a Line Bander Operator:
Band coils for shipment
Performs final quality check before coils placed in row for shipment
Tag coils with proper identification and fills out all required paperwork
Assist Hilo drivers prepare coils for pickling
Participate in 5S housekeeping
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Additional skills and/or experience required for success in the role of a Line Bander Operator:
Mechanically inclined
Able to commit to perfect attendance during the training schedule
Able to read job instructions
Able to complete required paperwork
Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift, and sit as needed throughout the day
Able to communicate clearly and effectively
