Are you currently enrolled in a Machining or Tool & Die program and looking to gain real-world manufacturing experience? At Wilson Tool, our Manufacturing Internship Program gives students the opportunity to apply what they're learning in the classroom while working alongside experienced professionals in a world-class manufacturing environment.
This paid internship is designed to help you develop technical skills, explore multiple areas of manufacturing, and build a strong foundation for your career-all while working around your school schedule.
Many of our interns transition into full-time careers with Wilson Tool after graduation.
What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Intern, you'll rotate through various manufacturing departments approximately every 6-9 months, giving you broad exposure to our operations and helping you discover where your interests and strengths align.
Throughout the program, you'll gain hands-on experience with:
  • CNC machine setup and operation
  • Manufacturing processes and production workflows
  • Assembly and product inspection
  • Material handling and inventory movement
  • Order picking and shipping
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders
  • Preventive machine maintenance
  • Quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives
  • Working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
