Job description

Now hiring Packers for our Hazleton, Pennsylvania, facility.

Join our Hazleton team as a Packer on the production line. Full-time work, steady schedules, and training provided.

As a Packer, you'll work on the production line to package, inspect, and prepare products for shipment. You'll start with core tasks like operating equipment, handling pallets, and performing quality checks. You'll have the opportunity to learn additional production and inventory skills as you gain experience. This facility promotes from within, and many employees advance through on-the-job training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience as a Production Worker or anyone looking to learn manufacturing skills.

What you'll do:

  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot automated box-making equipment
  • Load, unload and inspect packaging materials and products
  • Use equipment to move full pallets; shrink wrap and stage completed pallets
  • Form, label, seal, and inspect filled cartons on pallets
  • Check caps and packaging materials for defects
  • Clear jams and maintain scrap conveying systems, including bailer operations
  • Clean up scrap and maintain production area organization
  • Cross- train to the Lithographer Stacker role
  • Perform raw material inventory for production needs

What you'll need to have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Experience in manufacturing environment, preferred
