Job Title: Batch Maker Department: Production Reports To: Production Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt---Position SummaryThe Batch Maker is responsible for accurately manufacturing paint and coating products according to established formulas, Batch tickets, quality standards, and safety procedures. This position operates mixing equipment, handles raw materials, monitors production processes, performs equipment cleaning, and ensures finished batches meet company quality requirements.---Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Review and follow batch tickets, formulas, and production schedules.· Gather, verify, weigh, and measure raw materials according to batch requirements.· Load ingredients into mixing and processing equipment manually or with material-handling equipment.· Operate mixers, dispersers, tanks, pumps, and related production equipment.· Adjust machine settings and process parameters to achieve required product specifications.· Monitor batch progress and record production data accurately.· Conduct in-process quality checks and coordinate with Quality Control personnel as needed.· Ensure finished products meet established quality, color, viscosity, and performance standards.· Maintain a clean and organized production area in accordance with housekeeping and safety requirements.· Clean and sanitize equipment between batches following established procedures.· Safely handle chemicals, resins, solvents, pigments, and other raw materials.· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved material-handling equipment.· Wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).· Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).· Assist with inventory control, raw material handling, and other production-related duties as assigned.---QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
