Job Summary:
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to validate their highly complex credit card application. The role involves performing end-to-end manual testing across iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches, ensuring the application meets the required standards and functions correctly.
Responsibilities:
• Execute Manual Tests: Run functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory tests on iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS devices.
• Validate Financial Logic: Verify complex credit card transactions, interest calculations, balance updates, and rewards tracking.
• Test Cross-Device Syncing: Ensure real-time data consistency and push notifications across paired iPhones and Apple Watches.
• Audit Security Standards: Validate biometric authentication (FaceID/TouchID), Apple Pay integrations, and secure data handling.
• Manage Defect Lifecycle: Document clear bug reports with exact steps, logs, screenshots, and device details.
• Documentation: Document in detail pre and post UI behavior for specific test activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience manually testing native apps on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands on testing experience working on large scale projects
• Prior experience testing banking, fintech, investment, or credit card processing applications.
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools like Splunk or Datadog.
