Job description

We are Vista Innovative Solutions (VIS), a technical solutions firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. VIS is seeking a Software Tester to support our ongoing contract.
A Software Tester is responsible for ensuring software quality by designing and executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Test Design and Execution: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test

scripts to ensure software functionality and performance meet specifications.
  • Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track software defects and issues,

providing detailed feedback to developers for resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and

other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the software meets user needs.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on testing outcomes, including defect

metrics and test coverage, to inform project stakeholders of software quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest testing tools and

methodologies, and contribute to process improvements within the testing lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software
