Description
Join Apple's Identity Management Services (IdMS) team as a Software Engineer and be part of building the next generation of innovative, high-scale software applications. We are looking for a passionate and driven engineer with experience in developing and deploying large-scale, high-demand systems.
In this role, you'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle-from architecture and design to implementation, testing, and maintenance. You will contribute to developing new product features, enhancing existing functionality, and driving performance and code quality improvements.
As part of the IdMS team, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including business stakeholders, engineering peers, QA teams, product managers, and human interface designers. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software development, with significant experience in design and development of large-scale distributed systems
Strong Proficiency in Java, Spring, multi-threading, non-Blocking, data caching services, and data access technologies, coupled with hands-on development experience.
Experience in designing and implementing high-performant REST / RPC services.
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, FIDO2/WebAuthn)
Proven track records in designing, leading and shipping mission-critical IAM Platforms and services in Java that runs at a global scale.
Experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering,, or AI-assisted developer tools)
Experience product-ionizing ML systems (model serving, feature pipelines, monitoring, drift detection)
Strong experience with integration testing, contract testing, and shift-left quality practices
Experience with cloud platforms, containers, and large-scale infrastructure
