Responsible for building and equipment maintenance Description of the job offer: Reporting to the general management, the person responsible for the maintenance of buildings and equipment ensures the corrective and preventive maintenance of the establishment (phases I and II). Main tasks : Execute and complete the work orders assigned to him under the preventive maintenance program Establish a schedule of work taking into account the priorities Keep the preventive maintenance program up to date by creating new work orders when necessary, attaching work invoices to the entities concerned (labour, material, etc.) Manage ad hoc requests from employees or residents according to their priority Document findings, effects and consequences and propose solutions to management Manage emergencies in the absence of the general management, by contacting the suppliers concerned to report the situation to them and schedule a visit date. Complete the related work order Contact specialized suppliers to carry out repairs, installations or major work (plumbers, electricians, technicians for alarm systems, generators, exterminators, etc.) Provide general supervision of supplier interventions (time, materials, compliance with quotes, etc.) and report to management Perform a daily visual inspection of the premises to identify and report any anomaly to the building Carry out routine minor work according to the limits of their knowledge and skills (plaster, painting, plumbing, etc.) in compliance with standards and regulations Purchasing the materials needed for the work and reporting to management Be available on call if an emergency arises on evenings and weekends Gradually take charge of the preventive maintenance program Plow the sidewalk that gives access to the generator in winter Install air conditioning units for the summer season Any other related task requested by the general management Social advantages : VRSP with 2% employer contribution (after 12 months of continuous service) Complete meals provided (soup, main course and dessert) Free coffee and beverages at all times Paid meal time Holidays according to the labor standards in force Up to 40 hours of floating holidays per year, redeemable if not used (after 3 months of continuous service) Allowance of $80/year for the purchase of work uniforms or shoes Free parking for employees Reimbursement of travel expenses when necessary at $0.50/km Availability premium of $1/hour (included in the base hourly rate) for emergency calls and trips to the residence outside of regular working hours Training: DEP Building and Public Works – General Building Maintenance Or any other combination of training and experience deemed relevant SKILLS : Manual skill Ability to control, maintain and repair equipment and systems Sense of initiative Attendance and punctuality
