This role is essential to ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate inpatient care for pediatric through geriatric patients. You will directly impact patient outcomes by developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans while upholding dignity, confidentiality, and the highest clinical standards.
What You’ll Do

  • Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients from pediatric to geriatric
  • Apply knowledge of illnesses, injuries, and disease processes in patient assessments
  • Complete written patient assessments on admission and throughout the nursing process
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans, including discharge planning
  • Carry out medical plans and accurately document nursing interventions
  • Advocate for patients while maintaining dignity and confidentiality
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and modify care plans as needed
  • Provide patient and family education to support treatment and recovery
  • Follow hospital‑wide safety, emergency, infection control, and HIPAA standards
  • Serve as a resource for staff orientation, education, and patient instruction
  • Participate in committee work, nursing meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including occasional requests to work on scheduled days off
