    4-day work weeks (Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days)

What We're Looking For
Qualified candidates should have 2+ years of experience operating one or more of the following:
  • Track or rubber tire backhoe (digging at grade)
  • Road grader
  • Dozer
  • Track or wheel skid loader
What You'll Do
As an Equipment Operator with the Manitowoc County Highway Department, you will:
  • Perform road maintenance and snow removal operations
  • Maintain highway right-of-ways
  • Operate heavy equipment in all seasons
  • Mow grass, trim trees and brush, repair washouts, spray weeds, and remove debris
  • Repair potholes and cracks in road surfaces
  • Install and repair guardrails, posts, bridges, markers, and snow fences
  • Assist with bridge maintenance and other roadway improvements

Requirements
