Job description

Housekeeping Houseperson

As a Housekeeping Houseperson, you will support the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, delivering linens and supplies, and assisting with room resets. Your role ensures that both guest rooms and common areas meet HVMG’s cleanliness standards. This position reports to the Executive Housekeeper.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be the behind-the-scenes support for our hotel's housekeeping team, ensuring they have everything they need to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Your daily tasks will include stocking housekeeping carts, delivering supplies to guest rooms, and assisting with cleaning tasks as needed.
  • You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
  • A career as a houseman-houseperson can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as housekeeping attendant, housekeeping supervisor, or even a managerial position in hotel operations.  
  • A job in housekeeping can take you down almost any path, and it is great for someone who wants to learn the hotel business inside and out.  This is also a great career for someone who likes to leave work behind at the end of the shift.
