Position Summary:
RedChip is seeking a Social Media Director to lead and execute our social media strategy across multiple platforms, with a focus on audience growth, thought leadership, and measurable business impact. This is an in-office, full-time role based in Maitland, FL. The ideal candidate is a player-coach who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution and has a strong understanding of financial markets and investor audiences.
In this role, you will oversee RedChip's social media presence as well as social initiatives executed on behalf of our public company clients. You will be responsible for developing content strategies, managing daily execution, analyzing performance, and scaling social media efforts as the team continues to grow.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy focused on audience growth, engagement, lead generation, and brand authority.
  • Create, publish, and oversee high-quality content across platforms including X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and investor-focused platforms such as Webull.
  • Produce and manage a diverse mix of content formats, including short-form posts, long-form threads, short- and long-form video, live streams, and visual assets (graphics and carousels).
  • Act as a player-coach by directly contributing to content creation while managing and mentoring team members.
  • Manage both organic and paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, messaging, creative direction, and performance optimization.
  • Support client investor relations initiatives by amplifying client press releases, events, research reports, and corporate announcements across social channels.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics such as follower growth, engagement rates, traffic attribution, lead generation, and client sentiment.
  • Use data and insights from native platform analytics and tools such as Sprout, HubSpot, and Google Analytics to continuously optimize performance.
  • Ensure all social media activity maintains a professional tone and aligns with regulatory awareness and best practices when representing public companies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience managing social media for brands, organizations, or clients.
  • Strong working knowledge of the stock market, investing concepts, and financial audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and engage audiences across multiple social platforms.
  • Experience managing both organic and paid social media initiatives.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial topics clearly and professionally.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience
  • Professional experience in finance, investing, fintech, investor relations, financial media, or capital markets.
  • Familiarity with compliance considerations and best practices for financial communications on social platforms.
