Job description

Job Overview:
The Senior Manager of Water Treatment Systems will lead efforts to assess, support, sustain, improve and optimize KDP water treatment systems and processes to include various water treatment & production technologies e.g. RO, Nano, DI, LTS, Ozonation, etc. This role is critical in developing a robust enterprise strategy while driving key water initiatives and continuous improvement programs across the organization to achieve our production and environmental sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Waste Elimination: Identify and implement strategies to reduce waste across all operations, including water processing consumables (membranes, chemicals, carbon filtration, UV lights, etc.), energy use and associated preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Water Waste Reduction: Lead initiatives to improve water use efficiency and reduce water waste in manufacturing processes.
  • Water Treatment Knowledge and Capability: Serve as the KDP Subject Matter Expert (SME) on water treatment, regulatory requirements and associated processes, representing KDP in engagements with external water treatment OEM's, local, state and federal organizations, water treatment industry organizations and any other water treatment related parties. Lead the development of the KDP Water Treatment culture and drive education and training on water treatment processes operations and maintenance for KDP employees associated with water treatment
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and implementing best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive water initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and report on water treatment and processing efforts and performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of water treatment and continuous improvement professionals across the manufacturing organization, providing guidance and support to achieve business objectives. Serve as the key KDP SME and main technical resource for all significant (major capital) water treatment projects, vendor engagements and water treatment system troubleshooting, enhancement and/or modifications

Total Rewards:
  • Salary range: $130,700 - $170,830
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.), or a related science field (Chemistry, Environmental Science, etc.); Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in field service and operations with water treatment systems within the beverage industry and an additional minimum of 5-7 years of regional/corporate level experience with water treatment services and/or account management and project management. Total years of experience in water treatment within the beverage industry must be a minimum of 12 - 17 years.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and troubleshooting water treatment systems including major capital projects within the beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of water processing and production regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to deliver professional and technical presentations/reports and utilize data analytics and statistics. Working familiarity with Microsoft Applications.
