The Senior Director, Data Science, leads the development and execution of advanced data strategies and machine learning solutions to drive business value across multiple domains. This role requires deep expertise in analytical modeling, data visualization, and stakeholder collaboration to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights. The position oversees model deployment, validation, and scaling while mentoring teams and fostering innovation. By aligning data initiatives with organizational objectives, the Senior Director ensures impactful decision-making and continuous improvement, supporting Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and customer-centric solutions.
About the team:
The team leads strategic development for the Ambient First Mile ecosystem, focusing on Domestic and International supplier and seller First Mile injection. It drives inventory strategies across retail and omni-replenishment capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the team leverages data strategy, machine learning, and business analysis to deliver impactful solutions. Members contribute to shaping innovative approaches that enhance operational efficiency and support Walmart’s growth. This group values clear communication, strategic thinking, and a commitment to excellence in advancing data-driven initiatives within a complex, dynamic environment.
What you'll do:

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $320,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
