Job Overview
 
Join Hubbell as a Financial Systems Manager!
 
Are you a OneStream expert who thrives at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Business Transformation? We're looking for a Financial Systems Manager to lead and optimize our enterprise financial systems environment at Hubbell.

System Administration

  • Monitor and maintain application settings, parameters, security groups, and workflow profiles.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and ensure high availability.
  • Coordinate environment refreshes, patches, and upgrades with IT.

Data Management

  • Ensure accurate data management and reporting of financial information based on established deadlines and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Oversee data loads from ERP systems, flat files, and other data sources.
  • Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain entity structures, metadata, FX rates, and transformation rules.
  • Ensure proper execution of data integrations and mappings.

 Close & Consolidation Support

  • Provide critical support for business needs surrounding the monthly close process, planning, and forecasting, quarterly/annual financial statements and audits, acquisitions, and other items.
  • Run consolidations, calculations, and allocations in accordance with reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot intercompany eliminations and consolidation rules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve financial system issues in a timely manner to support critical business processes.

 Reporting & Analysis

  • Support Power BI reporting as it relates to OneStream.
  • Assist Finance teams with ad-hoc queries and custom report creation.
A Day In The Life

Upgrades, Testing & Change Management

  • Serve as project manager on all financial systems projects / implementations / initiatives that expand financial system functionality via collaboration with the Financial Systems team, IT, finance teams across the organization and / or consultants.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and implement enhancements.
  • Develop and drive enhancements and improvements for productivity, efficiency, and quality of financial data. Identify and act on opportunities for process automation. Maintain knowledge of trends and developments with financial systems, technology, and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver testing for all system changes prior to deployment.
  • Coordinate and monitor User Acceptance Training (UAT) for all system changes.
  • Perform all testing and validation in a DEVELOPMENT / QA environment prior to full deployment in the PRODUCTION application.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure stability after changes.

User Support & Training

  • Function as the primary point of contact for OneStream user support.
  • Provide customer support across the entire corporate and field finance organization, including training for end users.
  • Create/update environment documentation and knowledge base as the environment evolves and changes.
  • Lead training on all aspects of OneStream (including Monthly closing and forecasting processes)
  • Promote adoption of OneStream best practices across the organization.

Governance & Compliance

  • Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with SOX and ITGC controls.
  • Maintain system audit logs and support audit requests.

Business Rules & Calculations

  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot VB.NET-based business rules.
  • Implement calculation logic for allocations, currency conversions, and KPIs.
  • Test and deploy changes across environments following change management policies.
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
    • 5+ years of related experience administering, implementing, or optimizing applications such as OneStream, HFM, Hyperion, Financial Consolidation Close Cloud, etc.
    • 5+ years of experience in a financial reporting capacity.
  • Experience in administering OneStream is a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required, with strong information technology skills or bachelor's degree in information systems required, with strong accounting/finance skills.
  • Knowledge of scripting language required (VB.NET)
  • Knowledge of Power BI connectivity a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage details through to completion and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and as part of a team.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to multitask, proactively solve problems, and exercise independent judgement.
