Sr DataStage Developer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Expertise in IBM DataStage version 11.5 or above,Cloudpak,DB2, Unix and SQL.
• Possess a broad understanding of multiple technologies, including Mainframe, DB2, IMS, COBOL, Master Data Management, Analytics, ETL, UNIX shell scripting.
• Extensive development experience in IBM Information Analyzer/IBM web sphere/Data Stage/Quality Stage/Fast Track/Metadata workbench
• Expertise with SQL, RDBMS, complex queries, optimization and fine tuning.
• Expertise in integrating DataStage with BPM tools such as Pega, TIBCO, Apache Activitities
• Expertise in integrating DataStage with Ngen, RESTful web services
• Has an understanding of large Batch processing, knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies, exposure to all facets of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes. Self-motivated Individual Contributor.
Understand stakeholders expectations and objectives
Participate/host calls independently with onshore technology teams
Should be able to understand requirement specs and develop the code
Participate in requirement gathering meetings and proactively clarify doubts
Suggest technical solutions
Create design document
Develop ETL batch flows using DataStage
Involve in unit testing, Component Integration testing , System Integration testing and implementation
Proactively track tasks to closure
Own the task assigned and keep all the stakeholders informed about the status
Support the code install releases and support post deployment control phase
Education
B.Tech Computer Science and above or relevant
Salary Range: $110000 - $115000 a year
