Job Overview

The Software Developer will design, build, and maintain robust web applications using React, PHP, TypeScript, MongoDB, and Azure SQL. This position will work alongside other talented team members and cross-functional teams to shape the future of technology within the organization.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Build intuitive and performant user interfaces using React, TypeScript or similar.

  • Develop and maintain backend services using PHP, working with modern frameworks.

  • Manage and integrate data across MongoDB and Azure SQL environments.

  • Participate in architectural decisions and technical planning.

  • Collaborate with team members across design, QA, product, and DevOps to ensure delivery goals are met.

  • Contribute to a culture of experimentation by exploring new tools, frameworks, and ideas.

  • Participate in regular retrospectives and continuous improvement practices.

  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

  • Other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or U.S. bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in computer science, engineering, or a related field followed by at least five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience)

  • Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript or another modern frontend stack.

  • Experience with PHP, ideally with Laravel or similar frameworks.

  • Familiarity with MongoDB and Azure SQL for data management.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and modern web architecture.

  • Comfortable working in agile teams with a focus on iterative delivery.

  • Version control and feature branching experience via Git.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
  • Understanding of agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Working Conditions
  • Office environment with standard office hours, Monday-Friday.
  • Occasionally lifting computer equipment (usually up to 25lbs) and moving between workstations or office areas.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer.
  • The office environment has moderate noise levels from general office activities, including conversations, telephone calls, and office equipment.
  • Collaborative work environment with cross-functional teams.
