ABOUT THE SCHWARTZ AESTHETIC INSTITUTE

The Schwartz Aesthetic Institute is a nationally renowned, state-of-the-art medical and aesthetic destination located in the heart of Thousand Oaks, California. Founded by Dr. Michael R. Schwartz - a double board-certified plastic surgeon with over 25 years of expertise - the Institute encompasses a full-service medical office, The Spa, and the AAAASF-accredited Westlake Cosmetic Surgery Center.

Our world-class team delivers exceptional results across surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures, medical aesthetics, laser treatments, injectables, and an expanding suite of wellness services. We take pride in an environment where artistry meets medicine, and where every patient is treated like family.

As we grow our wellness division - with a focus on transformative medical weight loss, peptide protocols, and hormone optimization - we are seeking a passionate, highly qualified Wellness Program Manager to lead this exciting expansion.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique leadership role for a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who is passionate about integrative wellness and longevity medicine. Reporting directly to Dr. Schwartz, the Wellness Program Manager will build, manage, and grow a comprehensive wellness program that empowers patients to look and feel their best from the inside out.

You will have the autonomy to shape clinical protocols, develop patient care pathways, and collaborate with our exceptional team of providers in a high-end, supportive environment. This is not just a clinical position - it is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on a growing program at one of Southern California's most respected aesthetic institutes.

Adoreal partners with plastic surgery practices to provide the operational, marketing, and growth infrastructure that lets clinicians focus on what matters most: exceptional patient care. Part of that partnership means helping our practices build the right teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the Wellness Program, including GLP-1 (semaglutide/tirzepatide) weight loss, peptide therapy, supplements, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for both men and women.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, assessments, and follow-up appointments for wellness program participants.
  • Develop and maintain evidence-based clinical protocols and treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals.
  • Order and interpret laboratory work, diagnostics, and hormone panels to guide individualized therapy.
  • Educate and counsel patients on medication use, lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and long-term wellness strategies.
  • Collaborate with Dr. Schwartz, Dr. Stark, and the nursing team to integrate wellness services with existing aesthetic offerings.
  • Monitor patient outcomes, track program metrics, and drive continuous quality improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging research, best practices, and trends in GLP-1 therapies, peptide medicine, longevity, and hormone optimization.
  • Assist in marketing and growing the wellness program through patient education, community outreach, and collaboration with the Institute's marketing team.
  • Ensure all practices comply with California state regulations, DEA requirements, and applicable standard-of-care guidelines.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Active, unrestricted California license as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ANP, or WHNP preferred) or Physician Assistant.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; experience in medical weight management, functional medicine, endocrinology, or aesthetics strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of or experience prescribing GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide) and managing weight loss patients.
  • Experience in all components of a longevity program, including supplements and a holistic approach to maximize longevity goals.
  • Familiarity with peptide therapies (e.g., BPC-157, Sermorelin, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin) and hormone optimization protocols (BHRT, testosterone, thyroid).
  • Ability to order, review, and interpret comprehensive lab panels, including hormone profiles, metabolic panels, and thyroid function.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a program.
  • Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
  • BLS/ACLS certification required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification or training in integrative, anti-aging, or functional medicine (e.g., A4M, IFM, BHRT certification).
  • Previous experience in a medical spa, aesthetics practice, or concierge medicine setting.
  • Passion for cosmetic wellness and the synergy between inner health and outer beauty.
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms.
