Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team in Charlotte, NC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. This role supports emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations and includes participation in CT-guided invasive procedures and cases with anesthesia as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years CT experience.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program or equivalent.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with multi-phase scanning, venous and arterial phase scanning, and stroke imaging including perfusion.
- Ability to start peripheral IVs.
- Experience working in hospital settings that support ED, ICU, PCU, observation, and outpatient workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- TeraRecon workstation experience preferred.
- Experience with cardiac CT imaging preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- Shift hours: 9:00 PM to 9:30 AM.
- Standard hours per week: 36.
- Department performs approximately 160 studies per weekday and 120 studies on weekends.
- Work involves use of EPIC for EMR, Epic Radiant for RIS, and Philips iSite PACS.
- Department equipment includes Siemens Definition AS40, Siemens Force, and Siemens Edge+ CT scanners with Bayer/Medrad power injectors.
- Orientation includes 1 day administrative onboarding and 2 days to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed.
- Scrub color: Black. Free surface lot and parking decks available.
