Job description

Position Summary:
The Chief Ride Operator is responsible for coordinating all show and ride aspects of Sky Fly: Soar America, including safety, cleanliness, monitoring of the queue, and initiating ride and show commands.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintains operational, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Acts as "Person in Charge" of the show experience.
• Tests equipment daily before opening attraction to guests.
• Responsible for the daily cleaning of the attraction with other staff
• Implements all Standard Operating Procedures, including evacuation procedure.
• Oversees to flow of guests through the attraction.
• Responsible for maintaining a properly timed experience.
• Coordinates and Initiates the show sequence for the attraction and pre-show areas.
• Observes the attraction for abnormal faults and handles such items appropriately.
• Ensures staff and guests follow protocol while loading, unloading, and riding.
• Enforces ride restrictions and recommendations to ensure safe operation.
• Verify all safety systems are in proper condition prior to starting ride.
• Ensures the TD Booth door always remains closed.
• Allows only authorized personnel in the TD Booth.
• Does not allow personal electronic devices or distractions into the TD Booth.
• Communicates any mechanical issues to the Manager on Duty as well as Maintenance staff.
• Conducts evacuations in a safe, effective manner.
• Completes daily paperwork as required.
• Assists in training as needed.
• Follows all handbook policies.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Basic computer skills.
