Job description

POSITION:    Junior High Football Coach

LOCATION:    TCU High School

STARTING DATE:    2026-2027 school year

SALARY:    Per TCU EA master agreement

REPORTS TO:Activities Director

DATE OF POSTING:May 27, 2026

 QUALIFICATIONS:    

1. Prefer, but not required Minnesota teaching and coaching certification.

2. Prefer, but not required employment as a teacher in the Tri-City United School District.

3. Previous coaching experience in sport is desirable.

4. Has knowledge and background in the assigned sport.

5. Works collaboratively with students, parents and other members of the community.

6.  Effective interpersonal interactions and communication skills as applied to interaction  with both youth and adults.

7. Experience with Why We Play' and "Positive Coaching Alliance" seminar/coaches training preferred or willing to attend training.
