Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Director, Communications - Advanced Surgical Instruments. This role will sit out of or Santa Clara California or Cincinnati, Ohio office on a hybrid work schedule.

We're seeking a forward-thinking, results-oriented communications leader who excels at execution and strategic collaboration to help shape the future of our advanced surgical stapling and surgical energy business.

As Director, Communications, Advanced Surgical Instrumentation, for Johnson & Johnson MedTech's Surgery business, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create strategic communications programs that drive business outcomes.

This is a comprehensive communications role, prioritizing thought leadership and earned/owned media strategy, as well as strategic messaging and content development, social media and campaign activations, employee and culture communications, and issues management.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, can connect the dots across teams, and who brings exceptional writing skills, strategic business acumen, and a bias for action. Building a deep understanding of surgery, connected technology, clinical and medical data, and healthcare markets will be required as a foundation to build and deploy an integrated global communications plan.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (required).

Experience

  • 10+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing communications, public affairs, or related fields.

  • Experience in healthcare, MedTech, robotics, or highly technical industries preferred

  • Demonstrated experience creating highquality written and visual content across multiple formats.

  • Experience working crossfunctionally with matrixed teams and managing complex workflows.

Skills

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$172,000.00 - $297,850.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k))

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
