Schedule Details:

The Housekeeping Department operates seven days a week. You will be assigned to an eight-hour shift, which includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Cleans and services guest rooms, including but not limited to stripping linens, making beds, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, replenishing linens and amenities, and repositioning furniture as needed. All work is completed within established timeframes while maintaining the HGV brand standards of cleanliness and guest service.
  • Ensures each guestroom is carefully prepared to create a clean, comfortable, and safe environment, with attention to detail in all aspects of room readiness. Identifies and corrects minor deficiencies when possible and reports maintenance or housekeeping concerns to ensure alignment with resort standards. 
  • Greets guests in a warm, courteous manner and responds promptly to requests, demonstrating heartfelt hospitality and a guest focused approach. 
  • Maintains awareness of resort services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests as needed. 
  • Communicates effectively with dispatch, team members, and other departments to ensure timely service delivery and coordination. Relays room status updates and follows up on incomplete work or special requests. 
  • Maintains assigned carts, supplies, and storage areas in a clean, organized, safe, and well stocked condition at all times. 
  • Safeguards departmental assets and follows all safety procedures, proper inventory, key control protocols, and lost and found procedures. 
  • Reports damaged, missing, or unsafe conditions in guest rooms or public areas and ensure proper documentation. 
  • Observes and reports any unusual or suspicious activity in accordance with safety procedures.

  • Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

  • Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and interact with guests and team members, including reading and writing.
  • Ability to deliver cleaning services with attention to detail, professionalism, and care to meet established cleanliness and presentation standards. 
  • Ability to follow procedures, manage time effectively, and complete tasks within assigned timeframes. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment. 
  • Ability to interact courteously with guests and respond appropriately to requests. 
  • Ability to maintain professional grooming and appearance standards consistent with a luxury hospitality environment. 
  • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with company standards.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift/carry, push/pull items more than 25 lbs.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ Years Related Experience
  • Prior time-share housekeeping experience
