This position is remote and can be hired anywhere in the continental US.

As a Client Manager, you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to a portfolio of key enterprise clients, helping them align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives and risk management priorities. You will lead the development and execution of multi-year account strategies, identify opportunities to expand Optiv's security services and technology solutions, and build lasting executive-level relationships. This role combines account leadership, business development, and cybersecurity consulting to help clients strengthen their security posture while driving growth across assigned accounts.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans for a select group of enterprise clients.

  • Build trusted relationships with client executives and key stakeholders, becoming a strategic advisor on cybersecurity initiatives.

  • Identify client business, technology, and security objectives and align them with Optiv's security services and technology solutions.

  • Lead cross-functional account teams including Solutions Architects, Client Operations Specialists, and consulting services personnel.

  • Drive pipeline creation, account growth, and revenue attainment across assigned accounts.

  • Collaborate with clients to develop security roadmaps and recommend solutions that address evolving cybersecurity risks.

  • Position and sell a broad portfolio of solutions including advisory services, consulting, managed security services, implementation services, and security technologies.

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management while driving opportunities through the sales lifecycle.

  • Partner closely with technology vendors and strategic partners to create and advance sales opportunities.

  • Facilitate communication between clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with key clients to measure progress against established business, technology, and security goals.

  • Execute sales strategies utilizing methodologies such as MEDDICC and Command of the Message.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, or professional services sales.

  • Demonstrated success building and managing strategic account plans and exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience selling complex technology, consulting, or services-based solutions.

  • Ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders and decision makers.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect cybersecurity risk to business outcomes.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across sales, technical, and services organizations.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling cybersecurity services, managed security services, consulting services, or security technology solutions.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity domains including security operations, cloud security, identity and access management, governance, risk and compliance, and infrastructure security.

  • Experience developing and presenting strategic security roadmaps to enterprise clients.

  • Background working with Fortune 1000 organizations and complex, multi-year engagements.

  • Familiarity with the IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and risk & compliance markets.

  • Experience selling consulting and advisory services.

Total Target Compensation

$140,000 - $250,000+ Annually

The Estimated Total Target Compensation for this role includes base salary and an uncapped bonus plan where you are paid both on new and renewal business. It is informed by (but not limited to) various factors including responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, geography, as well as other market influences when extending an offer. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for these factors. Optiv offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, of which salary is a component.
