Full-Time | Commission-Based | Outside Sales

Job Summary

Beyond the Box, Inc. is seeking a motivated Closet Sales Designer to convert leads into completed sales through consultative design, budgeting, and client relationship management. You'll work with homeowners, contractors, installers, and sales designers. This role blends creativity, sales, and project ownership, from first consultation, job site measurements to installation and warranty.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home and showroom consultations, including measurements and design presentations
  • Design custom closet solutions aligned with client needs and budgets
  • Develop estimates, present pricing, and secure design agreements and contracts
  • Manage clients from initial consultation through project completion
  • Maintain accurate records, sales activity, and forecasts in HubSpot
  • Coordinate with vendors, installers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience in sales, design, or a related industry preferred
  • Interior Design Degree, Bachelor's Degree a plus, but not required
  • Strong design sense with attention to detail and spatial awareness
  • Ability to balance creativity with budget-driven solutions
  • Proficiency with design software and Microsoft Office; CRM experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Must have current Driver's license and reliable insured transportation
