Exterior Maintenance Technician

Paul Property Management

SUMMARY

Exterior Maintenance Technician responsibility is to oversee the upkeep of our property’s exteriors in McPherson Kansas. The individual in this role will showcase their technical experience–from mowing, to sprinkler systems, and to chemical application knowledge–to ensure the continued stability of our properties exteriors. They will be responsible for performing mowing, snow removal, inventory, repairs, unit turns etc. In doing so, the exterior maintenance technician will solve problems and facilitate excellent conditions for our tenants and property. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Give daily updates on tasks to keep open communication with management and office staff.
  • Log sheets need completed daily and turned in every Friday.
  • Update tasks daily in our system.
  • Mow, edge, trim lawns
  • Apply seed and weed/chemical treatment
  • Snow removal/salt application
  • Coordinate outside vendors for projects and monitor job progress
  • Preventative maintenance and tracking
  • Perform unit turn maintenance when a resident vacates.
  • Ability to complete routine assignments without direct supervision.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Landscaping and maintenance experience preferred
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions throughout the year: heat, cold, rain, snow, humid, etc.

40 hour week

Monday-Friday.

On call every other week.
