Bright Smiles Dental is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team. This role centers on supporting dental professionals in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate holds a current Radiation Health & Safety certification and is passionate about fostering a comfortable and efficient dental experience.
Located in Lowell, MA, Bright Smiles Dental is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care. Our patient-focused approach and supportive team environment make us a preferred dental care provider in the community. We emphasize professional growth and maintaining a friendly atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Job Description

Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring efficient four-handed dentistry techniques
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments according to infection control standards
Perform dental radiographs in compliance with safety regulations
Record and maintain accurate patient dental records
Ensure patient comfort and explain post-treatment care when appropriate
Manage instrument sterilization and office organization
Support scheduling and administrative duties as needed

Salary Range

Part-time $20 - $24 per hour

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Current Radiation Health & Safety Certification (X-ray certification)
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential
Valid CPR certification
Proven experience in dental assisting and performing dental X-rays
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Preferences
  • Infection Control License

Experience with dental office software system
Familiarity with infection control protocols and dental terminology
