Job description

Job Description
Build our future together:
The Insider Risk Analyst supports Regeneron's insider risk capability within the Global Data Protection & AI Security pillar, working alongside the Insider Risk & IP Protection lead. The role focuses on insider data risk, intellectual property protection, and employee-risk procedures, applying detection, triage, and case-management skills with discretion and defensible casework. Reporting lines in the pillar stay flat to the Senior Director; the analyst partners closely with HR, Legal, and the Data Protection Monitoring function on insider signal.
Where: Based at our Sleepy Hollow, NY location
When: 4 days onsite per week required
Discover your role:
  • Support the insider risk program: detection, triage, and case management for insider data risk.
  • Contribute to IP-protection monitoring across sensitive data and research assets.
  • Support employee-risk procedures, including performance-plan-related monitoring, in partnership with HR and Legal.
  • Partner with the Data Protection Monitoring and Engineering functions on insider signal quality and tuning.
  • Maintain case documentation and chain-of-custody discipline.
  • Support investigations and escalations with appropriate confidentiality and legal coordination.
  • Apply insider-risk detection use cases and thresholds, escalating material findings to the Insider Risk & IP Protection lead.
  • Contribute to insider-risk reporting and metrics for pillar leadership.

This role requires:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or related field required.
  • 4+ years in security, insider risk, or investigations.
  • Experience supporting insider-risk or DLP investigations with HR/Legal partnerships.
  • Case management and documentation discipline, including chain of custody.
  • Familiarity with insider-risk detection signal and behavioral indicators.
  • Working knowledge of data protection concepts and how monitoring signal supports insider cases.

Preferred
  • Insider-risk tooling experience (e.g., DLP, UEBA, insider-risk platforms).
  • Investigations or e-discovery background.
  • Regulated industry experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CFE, or equivalent).
