Job description

Overview
Tecolote Research is seeking a Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) Analyst with 5+ years of relevant experience to support Space Systems Command (SSC) programs. The selected candidate will support Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) analysis, schedule risk assessments, critical path analysis, schedule forecasting, and executive-level reporting to Government leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for DoD acquisition programs.
  • Perform schedule risk assessments, critical path analysis, schedule forecasting, and schedule health evaluations.
  • Analyze schedule performance and identify key schedule drivers, risks, and mitigation opportunities.
  • Support Monte Carlo simulations and confidence level assessments.
  • Collaborate with Government and contractor teams to collect schedule data and assess program performance.
  • Prepare schedule analysis products, briefings, and recommendations for program leadership.
  • Familiarity with DoD development programs, processes, and acquisition lifecycle is highly desired.
  • Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience, qualifications, and credentials)

Skills Required
  • 5+ years of experience in scheduling, program controls, project planning, earned value management, or related disciplines.
  • Experience developing or analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Understanding of schedule risk, critical path methodology, and project scheduling best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience supporting Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Force, Air Force, or other DoD acquisition programs is desired.
  • Experience performing Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA), Monte Carlo simulations, or confidence level analysis is desired.
  • Background in program controls, earned value management, project planning, or master scheduling is desired.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required

Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
