Job description

Only current Lipscomb Theatre students can apply for this position.  Students will be responsible for assisting the technical director, scenic designer, and production manager in the execution and maintenance of the scenery for theatre department productions. May be federal work study eligible.

Must have already taken at least 2 theatre practicums

This position requires:
- the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and use other personnel lifts
- need to understand theatrical construction principles
- have the ability to safely use power tools, welding equipment, and painting equipment
- the ability to supervise sets practicum student crews during load-in and strike
