Role Description
The Maintenance Specialist is a FT/ and On call, multi-site position for 5 locations in and around the Nashville, TN, area, responsible for the overall upkeep, safety, and appearance of the salon-suite facility.
Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections of common areas and suites, handling work orders and assisting with turning sites, handling repairs to equipment, fixtures, and finishes, and coordinating with vendors for more complex maintenance needs.
The role involves executing preventive maintenance schedules, promptly addressing maintenance requests from professionals and management, and troubleshooting issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and salon equipment within scope.
The Maintenance Specialist also supports cleanliness and presentation standards, ensures compliance with safety guidelines, and communicates clearly with the on-site concierge team and leadership about facility conditions and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for facility systems and salon-related equipment.
  • Experience performing Preventive Maintenance and routine Maintenance activities to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Ability to effectively diagnose issues using Troubleshooting skills and implement timely, practical solutions.
  • General knowledge of building systems (basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC) and safe use of hand and power tools.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple maintenance requests and schedules.
  • Effective communication skills and a service-oriented mindset when interacting with beauty and wellness professionals and staff.
  • Ability to work on-site, stand and move for extended periods, and perform light to moderate physical tasks, including lifting and carrying materials.
  • Availability for On call and Overtime hours as needed.
  • Previous experience in facility maintenance, property management, or a similar role preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
