Familiarity with IBM iSeries/AS400 environments, database management systems, and project management tools is typically required. The key challenge is maintaining your technical expertise while developing your leadership and project management skills, ensuring your team meets deadlines and delivers high-quality software. Open communication and effective delegation are essential to succeed in this dual-role environment.
