Job description

Job Title: Robotics Engineer

Job Description

This position collaborates with PLCs, mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to develop automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance for laundry processing technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy edge AI applications for industrial laundry and material-handling environments.
  • Integrate machine vision systems with robotic arms, conveyors, sensors, and automation equipment.
  • Assist with camera selection, calibration, image acquisition, and vision system optimization.
  • Train and optimize machine learning and computer vision models for textile recognition, stain detection, material classification, and item tracking.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in AI, robotics, machine vision, automation, or a related technical field in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with AI development frameworks and machine learning tools (e.g., ROS/ROS2).
  • Experience with CUDA or related AI acceleration technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems using data-driven approaches.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is strongly desired but not mandatory.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
