We are seeking an Analytics Platform Engineer, Power BI / Fabric to design, build, and support modern analytics solutions that enable customer-facing and internal reporting. This role will partner closely with Product, Operations, Customer Success, Data Engineering, Architecture, and AI Engineering teams to deliver trusted, governed, and user-friendly analytics capabilities.


What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, KPIs, and analytics assets for internal and customer-facing use cases.
  • Engineer scalable Microsoft Fabric and Power BI solutions that support Intelligent Visibility, Accelerated Path, customer analytics, and reporting modernization initiatives.
  • Develop reusable semantic models, data marts, report templates, and dashboard design patterns that create consistency across analytics products.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, Customer Success, Data Engineering, Architecture, and AI Engineering teams to deliver trusted analytics capabilities.
  • Support migration and modernization of legacy analytics and reporting assets into Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Translate customer and business reporting needs into scalable Power BI and Fabric solutions.
  • Establish and maintain governance practices for workspace design, report definitions, KPI logic, semantic models, security, and operational support.
  • Implement access controls, Row-Level Security, workspace governance, and deployment checks to reduce operational and customer risk.
  • Validate reports, data models, calculations, filters, security roles, and refresh processes before release.
  • Improve analytics delivery through reusable templates, automation, deployment pipelines, performance tuning, and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
  • Support AI-enabled analytics experiences, including Copilot in Power BI, Data Agents, conversational analytics, and natural language-driven insights.
  • Provide technical mentoring and peer guidance to engineers, analysts, and business users working with Power BI and Fabric.


What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of Power BI development, BI development, analytics engineering, data modeling, or reporting platform experience.
  • Strong experience with Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, SQL, semantic models, workspaces, apps, gateways, refreshes, deployment practices, and access management.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade semantic models.
  • Advanced DAX, Power Query, SQL, dimensional modeling, data visualization, performance tuning, and dashboard development skills.
  • Proven history delivering production Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and governed analytics assets.
  • Experience implementing Row-Level Security, workspace security, and customer-facing report distribution patterns.
  • Ability to create intuitive customer-facing reporting experiences and reusable semantic models.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with product owners, business stakeholders, engineers, data architects, and customer-facing teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies, report performance issues, refresh failures, access issues, and semantic model defects.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines, Dataflows, and related Microsoft analytics services is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines, Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery tools is preferred.
  • Experience modernizing legacy reporting assets or participating in Tableau-to-Power BI migration efforts is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI Copilot, AI-enabled reporting, or conversational analytics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of logistics, parcel technology, customer analytics, or operational reporting is preferred.
