Position Summary

Strategic Analytics is a dynamic and growing team at Arch that drives innovation and transforms how the business operates. By leveraging real-time analytic solutions, we help improve profitability and accelerate growth across the organization. Our team has expanded its focus to deliver business-driven intelligent data automation solutions, combining cutting-edge technologies such as Agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) and algorithmic-based actions. As AVP AI & Automation, you will play a key role in leading the development of end-to-end data extraction and enrichment capabilities that enhance digital operations across underwriting and claims functions. Reporting to the SVP of AI & Automation, you will collaborate with senior business leaders, underwriters, IT teams, process management teams, external vendors, and members of the Strategic Analytics team to design and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions.

In this role, you will spearhead initiatives to optimize workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Additionally, you will mentor offshore resources and work closely with stakeholders to improve Arch's Gen AI Center of Excellence, fostering innovation and excellence in intelligent automation. Responsibilities

  • Partner with the SVP of AI & Automation and various business units to analyze workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions aligned with business goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help establish Arch's Gen AI Center of Excellence, ensuring best practices and innovation in AI-driven solutions.

  • Maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, providing updates on existing projects and identifying new opportunities for automation and optimization.

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, including offshore resources, to deliver scalable and impactful technology solutions.

  • Define technology requirements that enhance business processes, improve efficiency, and support business optimization efforts.

  • Required Skills/Experience

  • 3+ years of ai engineering experience

  • 3+ years of data science experience

  • 8+ years of work experience in data science / ai / automation / engineering

  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills

  • Comfortable handling ambiguous concepts and breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces

  • Resilient problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively to different target audiences

  • Experience defining technology requirements designed to enhance business processes and business optimization

  • Flexibility - able to meet changing requirements and priorities
