ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

The Portfolio Architect is a pivotal role focused on shaping the technicalย landscape of products designed within a portfolio. This role is essential for collaborating with technical owners across product teams to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and deliver innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of transport industry.

ย WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO:

  • Portfolio-Level Tech Strategy: Work with CTO to define and lead the technical strategy for the portfolio, specializing in products for planning and management. Collaborate with product team technical owners to align strategies with operational goals
  • AI & Data Strategy Integration: Define and drive the integration of AI and data capabilities across the portfolio, including predictive analytics, machine learning models, and data-driven decision support for airport operations
  • Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation at the portfolio level, including detailed product/service interaction overviews and data flows tailored to airport operations requirements.
  • Key Design Decisions: Represent critical design decisions at the Software Design Authority (SDA) specific to airport operations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Portfolio Change Assessment: Evaluate and provide technical insights into the portfolio's change funnel, focusing on optimizing products for planning, scheduling, resource management, and operational efficiency.
  • Product-Level Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product teams to influence and contribute to product-level design decisions, technical design documents, and effective management of technical debt within portfolio.
  • Security and Compliance: Lead efforts in product-level threat modelling and security workbooks, ensuring robust security measures are implemented across airport operation systems. Collaborate with EISO and security domain architects to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
