Back to Life Psychotherapy Services is actively seeking an experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team in a full-time, remote Telehealth setting. This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment, utilizing Telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clientsโ€™ mental health status through virtual sessions.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to address specific needs and goals.
  • Provide consistent therapy sessions, offering support and guidance for clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to refer clients for additional treatments, such as medication management by psychiatrists, when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, ranging from individuals battling acute mental health crises to those managing chronic mental health conditions. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, including those struggling with substance use disorders, mood disorders, and significant life transitions. Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
  • At least four years of clinical experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Proven knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Exceptionally strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to provide calm reassurance during client sessions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capacity to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing both individual and group therapy sessions with an inclusive approach.
  • Familiarity with digital tools for remote counseling, particularly in a Telehealth context.
  • A background in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Compensation and Benefits
