Job description

Talis Group’s company client is a dedicated Social Security Disability law firm committed to helping individuals navigate the disability benefits process with compassion, professionalism, and strong client support. They are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Case Manager to join the team on a part-time basis, 20–25 hours per week.
Remote, in-office, or hybrid arrangements will be considered. Must be available during standard business hours for client and attorney coordination.
The Case Manager will work closely with clients, attorneys, and medical providers to support disability claims from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and experienced in handling medical record requests. This role requires excellent client service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
  • Communicate regularly with clients to gather updates, answer questions, and provide support throughout the claims process.
  • Request and track medical records from healthcare providers and maintain organized documentation.
  • Assist attorneys in preparation of case files, forms, and supporting evidence.
  • Enter and update case information in the firm’s case management system.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.

Highlighted Requirements:
  • Previous experience requesting and managing medical records required.
  • Prior work in a Social Security Disability or legal environment is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfort interacting with clients who may be experiencing stress or medical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using Clio or other legal case management software is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) or equivalent tools.
