Title: Associate Attorney – Real Estate Litigation

Location: Irvine, California (Hybrid)


About the firm:

Our client is a growing California law firm focused on real estate litigation, foreclosure defense, land use disputes, contract disputes, and complex property-related matters. The firm represents homeowners, businesses, and property owners throughout California and is known for its client-centered approach, strong litigation strategy, and commitment to protecting property rights.

As the firm continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Oakland office in a hybrid work environment.


Position Summary:

The Associate Attorney will manage a litigation caseload involving real estate, foreclosure, contract, land use, and property disputes. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong legal writing skills, courtroom experience, and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and legal memoranda.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex real estate and foreclosure-related issues.
  • Advise clients regarding litigation strategy, risk assessment, and case developments.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve favorable client outcomes.
  • Participate in business development and client relationship management initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.
  • Experience in real estate litigation, foreclosure law, land use matters, or property disputes is highly preferred.


Salary and Other Compensation:
