Job Description

For this role, we are seeking a qualified Business Systems Analyst to join Epsilon's Development Team in our Data Practice. In this role with our company, you will be focused on project tasks for Epsilon's TotalSource Plus (TSP) demographic and lifestyle products.

As a member of the Epsilon Data Team, you will work in a group that is not only focused on their project work but also their efficiency, compliance, standards, situational awareness, and readiness. You'll be a critical part of a fast-moving, innovative team where you'll work independently in some situations as well as working with a greater team in tasks that require full collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Product Management, Data Client Services, Analytics, and Development Teams. These teams manage data and product strategy and the applications used for client marketing campaigns.
  • Provide details to developers regarding what should be included in the software, application, or product to ensure it is included for client roll-out/implementation.
  • May lead linked teams from multiple functions to address business or systems issues. 
  • Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
  • Document processes to ensure continuity, education and security of systems.
  • Implement and test new programs to create cost-efficient systems, new products, or additional data capacity.
  • May provide consultation to users in the area of developed systems.
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
  • Configure system settings and options; plans and completes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and build specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
  • Communicate issues to stakeholders effectively and in a timely fashion.
  • Write Jira User Stories related to TSP data enhancements for each release cycle.
Qualifications

About you:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data and partner input to develop well-reasoned recommendations and sound courses of action in ambiguous or evolving situations.
  • Translate customer and business needs into clear, complete, and actionable requirements, specifications, and documentation.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance the initial evaluation and analysis of incoming project requests, accelerating solution ideation, improving requirements quality, and reducing ambiguity; familiarity with Cursor is a plus.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and serves as a liaison among business stakeholders, IT, developers, and external partners.
  • Apply strong problem-solving judgment and analytical thinking to support business and project teams.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong organization, attention to detail, and personal accountability.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with initiative and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Project Management or BSA role.
  • A proven ability to bridge business strategy and technical execution, translating product vision into clear requirements that developers can implement and clients can adopt successfully.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience designing practical, cost-effective automated solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Hands-on technical credibility - a comfort with configuring systems, driving testing through release, and supporting users on live solutions.
  • Disciplined ownership of TSP data quality, with a track record of identifying anomalies, driving resolution, and delivering well-defined enhancements through Agile release cycles.
  • Clear, proactive communication and cross-functional leadership, keeping stakeholders aligned and moving initiatives forward across Product, Development, and client-facing teams.

 Compensation Range: USD $63,600.00 - USD $118,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
