Python Engineer In Capital Markets

Python engineers in capital markets are responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving financial software applications. They leverage Python's capabilities to handle complex calculations, automate processes, and analyze vast amounts of data.

Location: Charlotte, NC & NJ (Onsite) And Dallas TX

Pay rate- $60 (Max)

No of Position-1

Overall 10+ years' experience

Domain:

Understanding of various financial instruments Interest rate swap, FX product (Swap, Spot, Forward), Bonds, Repo/Reverse repo, MBS bonds.

Have a high level understanding of how MTM and DV01 are calculated for the above set of products.

It would be nice to also have an understanding of P/L explain or attribution works.

Experience/Skills Required:

Proficiency in Python programming.

Experience with financial applications and capital markets.

Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib).

Understanding of machine learning techniques.

Ability to optimize code for high performance and low latency.

Experience with integrating new solutions with legacy systems.
