Job description

Job Title: Buyer

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Duration: 4 Months

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $32–$34/hr


Job Summary:

We are seeking a Buyer to support procurement and supply chain activities. The ideal candidate will have experience managing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and ERP/e-Procurement systems while handling multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

  • Process requisitions and create, maintain, and close purchase orders.
  • Work with supply chain and contracts teams to support purchasing activities.
  • Track open POs, vendor spend, and purchasing activity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and efficiency.
  • Utilize ERP and e-Procurement systems to maintain accurate purchasing data.
  • Support supplier relationships and procurement best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
  • Knowledge of ERP and e-Procurement systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities effectively.
  • High attention to detail and proficiency with technology.
