Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) in support of the LADS SBU and PF&M SSBU for a program located in Tucson, AZ.

The successful candidate will support overall program execution of materials management including cost/schedule/quality, and management of supplier performance. To be successful, the candidate must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives.

What You Will Do
  • Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management by working closely with Production Control, Purchasing, and Finance.
  • Work effectively in SAP/Prism to drive material demand.
  • Generate various material related forms: Sole Source Justification, Request for Material, etc.
  • Assist with generation of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW).
  • Support CAM(s) in managing material budgets and EACs for the program(s).
  • Support leads in material forecasting and risk and opportunity management.
  • Report program status and communicate critical issues to external and internal customers, as well as offer solutions for corrective action(s).
  • Drive successful completion of material deliveries with potentially aggressive schedules.
  • Support the make/buy/where process as needed.
  • Monitor performance metrics to proactively manage supplier performance and communicate larger concerns to functional leadership.
  • Up to 25% domestic travel may be required.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Supply chain experience.
  • Experience with ERP system SAP.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications
  • Supplier negotiation skills with the ability to identify and execute cost reduction opportunities.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations and/or production control.
  • Experience managing suppliers or projects.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
