Job description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Manager for a position located in Denver, Colorado, or Amarillo, Texas. The Project Manager will oversee consultants conducting protection coordination studies by managing project plans, financial forecasts, progress tracking, and reporting to support wildfire mitigation efforts.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 2–5 years of project management or related experience.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
  • Develops project plans and drives project milestones.
  • Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
  • Provides day-to-day directions to project resources and ensures the project teams are provided the resources and support that enable the teams to reach their defined objectives.
  • Ensures effective management changes occurs throughout the course of the project.
  • Responsible for preparation of documentation and status reports.

Requirements of the Project Manager:

  • 2–5 years of project management or related experience.
  • Experience with financial management, including accruals and forecasting.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of electric distribution systems and utility operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Background supporting electric distribution or system protection projects preferred.
